Product IntroductionWhite Fused Alumina (WFA), also known as White Aluminium Oxide, is made of aluminium oxide in an electric arc furnace at temperatures more than 2000oC. It is white and its hardness is higher, but its toughness is lower than the brown fused alumina. The abrasive tools made of it are suitable for the grinding of carbon steel, high speed steel and chilled steel. It can also be used as polishing materials and precision founding sand, spraying and coating materials, catalyst carrier, special ceramics and super refractory materials.
Main ApplicationIt’s widely used for the bonded abrasive tools such as grinding wheel, cutting wheels and coated abrasive tools such as abrasive paper, abrasive cloth. Its thermal properties make it an excellent material for use in the refractory products too.
